  Beautiful Japanese Figurines.  These figures have bisque faces and hands  with glazed porcelain clothing.  The tallest figure is about 10.5" tall.  The shortest figure is about 8.5" tall.  These heavy pieces have an impressed potters mark on the bottom.  They also have an export sticker on the bottom.  I believe they are Showa period pieces 1926-1988.  They are in excellent condition...Price $165.00

  Royal Copenhagen Pointer Puppy. Royal Copenhagen presented its under glaze figurines for the first time at the Paris World's Fair in 1889. The graceful figurines with their soft beautiful colors, hand-painted on porcelain under the luminous glaze, aroused a great deal of well deserved attention.   Great pair of bisque figurines probably from Germany. Here is a lovely little girl holding her doll with a broken head and a cute little boy holding his gun. The little boy is approximately 16.25" tall and the little girl is about 15.75" tall. They are both dressed in blue and pink clothing with black Mary Jane type shoes.   Colorful Bisque Porcelain Figurines of Boy and Girl. there is a blue makers mark on the bottom which looks like an H inside a square. There is also an impressed mark which says No. 393 and a number 10 also on the bottom of the little boy. On the front of the little girl on the base is the impressed number 393hidden in the design. These figurines are in very good antique condition. There is a slight imperfection at the bottom of the base of the little girl and it looks as if there might have been something in her fist which may have been broken off.   Tobbaco Leaf Mottahedeh Shell Dish.   Tobacco Leaf, one of the most prized of Chinese Export patterns was developed about 1780,  probably for the Portuguese and Brazilian markets.   Examples of this pattern have also been found in other European countries and in North America.  A small phoenix perched atop leaves of flowering Nicotiana with a flowering twig in its beak adorns this beautiful dish.  This pattern has been faithfully  reproduced using the  required twenty-eight colors including 22K gold and five firings in the  manufacturing process.  The desirability of this beautiful pattern has been undiminished by time.  Tobacco Leaf is an authorized reproduction for the Metroplitan Museum of Art.  This dish normally retails for $255.00...Our Price $165.00
